Just wanted to get back to you and let you know that I got the new screen & battery installed in my son's Nano the same day the shipment arrived. I rigged my pencil soldering 'gun' with a small wire to reduce its working tip. Along with a pair of tweezers and I had the new battery installed in no time. The screen wasn't hard to replace either.
It's been working just fine and my son is happy.

I got this iPod for my daughter for Christmas on eBay. I got it for $175!
Good for me right? Bad for me. The thing worked great. I was having a great time downloading my daughters favorite movies and some of her favorite music so it would be all set to go on Christmas Day.
She absolutely loved it. She was almost moved to tears. Two weeks later she broke it. She was moved to tears. So was I but I didn't let go. I called Apple and they directed me to an iPod shop on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City that would fix my iPod for a mer $150 with absolutely no guarantees. Yeah right.
Then I found you guys (cue violins).
I was surfing the Internet and I went to some blog where some other individual was victimized by their teen like me. They mentioned your web site. I took about 3 or 4 months to make up my mind and then I just said to hell with it and ordered the darn thing.
I gotta tell ya, what helped me decide to do business with you is this:
-On your website you provided the instructions up front before I even purchased the screen. This helped because I needed to see if this was something I could actually do.
-Next you offered to take over my crisis if I couldn't do it myself. Now that's what I call good business.
I'm 150% satisfied with my transaction and I wanted you guys to know it. I received my merchandise pretty darn quick. You kept me posted on my shipment status. Your instructions were clear and extremely helpful. The hardest part was getting the iPod open. After that it was smooth sailing and I am no techie kind of gal! The only thing that was missing was a piece of black film that covers up the "innerds" on the LCD ribbon. I used the old one. It's working great. I'm charging it and watching "White Chicks" right now. I cant wait until my daughter comes home from track practice. Okay, I'm almost done.
Most often we only take time to complain about bad service we have received and we're too busy to praise good service. I'm an avid eBayer so I believe in both. Kudos to you. I thank you. Recieved LCD screen for 5th generation video Ipod today. Had it in, in 15 min. Worked the first try. I used to be a PC technician and I am savey with this kinda stuff, so I thought that the directions were a bit too detailed for me. I used them as a guideline, but it seems that anyone really can do this repair on thier own. The tools were perfect and I was glad to see them included especially since the screen itself was the cheapest I could find. Looks like I got my money's worth becuase it isn't lacking in quality at all and I see no difference between it and the original LCD. Its important that people not just contact the buisnessess they have problems with, but also let the ones doing things right know. You are. I am very pleased with the product and the price. Hopefully I won't have to be impressed with the warrenty cause I don't want to break my Ipod again, but I have a feeling that if anything goes wrong, your company will be there again as promised. You do good buisness and I congratulate you on that.

I made a mistake in re-connecting the hard-drive cable. I checked it but the ipod didn't work (black and white screen asking for restoring through itunes).
I went TWO times to Downtown Chicago Apple store and they said to me that was clearly a matter of dead hard-drive...They proposed to buy a new ipod with 10% of discount giving in my old ipod!
I checked again all the connections especially the hard-drive cable. And now it works very well.
Apple should learn from you about customer care.
